Arc'teryx Beta AR Jacket Men's is a robust and versatile shell jacket designed for year-round use in demanding mountain conditions. The hybrid construction combines high durability in exposed areas with reduced weight throughout the rest of the jacket, providing reliable protection against rain, snow and strong wind without unnecessary bulk.

The jacket is constructed with GORE-TEX PRO and an ePE membrane, delivering waterproof, windproof and breathable protection. A more abrasion-resistant GORE-TEX fabric is used across the shoulders and upper sleeves, while a lighter material in the main body contributes to reduced weight and improved packability. The membrane is made without added PFAS, and the outer fabric features a PFAS-free DWR treatment that helps repel moisture.

The helmet-compatible DropHood™ provides generous coverage without restricting vision and can be adjusted using internal cord stops. Underarm ventilation zips make it straightforward to regulate temperature during high-output activity, while adjustable cuffs and a hem drawcord help seal out wind and weather.

Two zipped hand pockets and an internal chest pocket offer practical storage. Anatomically shaped panels ensure good freedom of movement, and the regular fit allows room for insulating layers underneath. An integrated RECCO® reflector in the hood brim can assist with location during search and rescue operations.
