Arc'teryx Beta AR Jacket Men's is a versatile and robust shell jacket developed for year-round use in demanding weather. It performs equally well on winter tours in snow and strong wind as on wet summer days in the mountains, combining high durability with good freedom of movement and effective weather protection.

The jacket is constructed with GORE-TEX PRO ePE, providing waterproof and windproof protection while offering good breathability. The hybrid construction uses an extra durable fabric over the shoulders and on the sleeves, while a lighter material in the main body reduces both weight and packed volume. The ePE membrane and DWR treatment are developed without added PFAS.

The helmet-compatible DropHood™ provides good protection and can be adjusted as needed. Underarm ventilation zips make it easy to release excess heat during high activity, while adjustable cuffs and a hem drawcord help keep wind and weather out.

Two zippered hand pockets and an internal chest pocket offer practical storage. An integrated RECCO® reflector is concealed in the hem brim and can assist with location during search and rescue.

Updated anatomically shaped panels, improved lamination, and more durable cord stoppers contribute to a long service life, while a more efficient construction reduces material waste during production.
