Accessibility and Universal Design

At Jobb og Fritid, we want everyone to be able to shop with us — regardless of ability, assistive technology, or the device you are using. Here you will find information about how we work with the universal design of our online shop, and how you can contact us if you encounter any difficulties.

Our goal

We work to make jobbogfritid.no as accessible and user-friendly as possible for as many people as we can. The online shop has been developed on the basis of universal design principles, and we strive to follow the international guidelines WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) at level AA.

What we have done

To make the online shop more accessible, we have among other things:

Structured content with clear headings and logical navigation
Ensured good contrast between text and background
Facilitated keyboard navigation
Used descriptive link texts and alternative texts on images
Adapted the website for different screen sizes and mobile devices
Chosen typefaces and text sizes that are easy to read

Areas we are continuing to work on

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are open about the fact that there are still areas that can be improved. We review the online shop regularly and work continuously to raise the quality — both through our own measures and in collaboration with our suppliers.
