Rab Xenair Alpine Light Jacket is a lightweight insulated model that combines warmth and breathability in a highly effective way. The jacket uses body-mapped insulation in varying thicknesses to maintain even warmth while managing temperature fluctuations as activity levels change. A new, highly breathable inner lining helps sustain comfort throughout the day, making the jacket ideal for everything from fast-paced hikes to demanding mountain passages.

The outer material consists of 20D Pertex Quantum Air with a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment, providing a good balance between weather protection and ventilation. The main fabric is a durable polyamide with an acrylic coating, while the lining is made from recycled polyamide. The insulation consists of 60 gsm PrimaLoft Gold Active+ with 55% recycled content, delivering lightweight warmth that handles varied activity without feeling stifling.

The jacket features a close-fitting hood that sits comfortably beneath a helmet, and a YKK front zip with a chin guard for added comfort. Two spacious hand pockets and an internal chest pocket with a zip make it easy to store small items securely. Elasticated gusset cuffs provide a good fit around the wrists, and articulated sleeves ensure natural freedom of movement. The hem can be adjusted to keep cold air out and secure an optimal fit.
