Rab Xenair Alpine Light Jacket is a lightweight insulated jacket that combines warmth and breathability in a highly effective way. The jacket uses body-mapped insulation in varying thicknesses to maintain even warmth while managing temperature fluctuations as activity levels change. A new, highly breathable inner lining helps sustain comfort throughout the day, making the jacket ideal for everything from fast-paced hikes to demanding mountain passages.

The outer material is 20D Pertex Quantum Air with a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment, offering a good balance between weather protection and ventilation. The main fabric is a durable polyamide with an acrylic coating, while the lining is made from recycled polyamide. The insulation consists of 60 gsm PrimaLoft Gold Active+ with 55% recycled content, providing lightweight warmth that holds up through varied activity without feeling stuffy.

The jacket features a close-fitting hood that sits comfortably under a helmet, and a YKK front zip with a chin guard for added comfort. Two spacious hand pockets and an internal zip chest pocket make it easy to store small items securely. Elasticated cuffs with a gusset provide a good fit around the wrists, and the articulated sleeves allow natural freedom of movement. The hem can be adjusted to keep cold air out and ensure an optimal fit.
