Rab Borealis Hoody is a lightweight and highly versatile softshell jacket for men, made for mountain activities where both breathability and wind resistance are essential. The low weight and packable construction make it easy to bring along, whether the route follows exposed ridges, steep crags or an active day out in nature. The jacket combines functionality with more sustainable materials, thanks to the use of recycled polyamide and polyester.

The fabric consists of Matrix™ single-weave stretch nylon with a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment, providing a balanced combination of wind resistance, good ventilation and a high degree of freedom of movement. The elastic construction allows the jacket to follow the body's movements without restricting, even during intense activity.

The jacket features a low-profile hood with an elasticated edge that sits securely and comfortably under a helmet. Two hand pockets with YKK zips offer simple and secure storage for small items, while elasticated cuffs keep volume to a minimum and ensure a precise fit. The hem can be adjusted from both sides with one hand. The front zip from YKK® VISLON® includes a chin guard for added comfort on long days out.

The Borealis Hoody is suited to trail running, climbing, light ski touring or as an all-round jacket for active days.
