Patagonia M's Nano Puff Vest was developed as a lightweight, compressible and weather-resistant insulation garment for climbers, but has become a favourite for almost any outdoor activity. It combines low weight, high warmth and impressive durability, and retains warmth even when damp.

The vest is filled with 60 g PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Eco – a synthetic insulation material made from 100% recycled polyester produced using P.U.R.E.™ technology, which reduces emissions during the manufacturing process. The outer fabric and lining are also made from 100% recycled polyester.

The characteristic horizontal quilting keeps the insulation in place and contributes to increased durability, whether the vest is worn as an outer layer or as a slim mid-layer under a shell. An improved fit around the shoulders and armholes allows more natural freedom of movement, while a somewhat slimmer silhouette and longer body make it well suited to layering systems.

The front zip features a moisture-wicking storm flap on the inside and a soft zip garage at the chin. Two zip hand-warmer pockets keep the hands warm. The internal zip chest pocket doubles as a stuff sack, complete with a carabiner clip loop. The extended hem at the back can be adjusted with a drawcord to retain warmth.
