OrganoTex® Wash-in Textile Waterproofing is a universal waterproofing treatment suitable for most textiles where you want to improve water- and dirt-repellent performance. The product restores the fabric's water-repellent properties while maintaining colour, texture and vapour permeability – which is important for all types of functional garments.

Most waterproof and water-repellent garments have a durable water repellent (DWR) finish on the outer fabric, but this gradually washes out over time. To maintain the garment's performance, the outer fabric must be re-treated. If the outer fabric becomes saturated, it prevents body moisture from being vented through the material, and you may feel wet and cold even if the jacket or trousers are not leaking water. It is therefore important to regularly re-treat functional clothing and outdoor textiles that you want to keep dry and performing.
