Carhartt 106676 is a classic and durable winter vest (V01) built for cold days. The shell is made from Carhartt's well-known firm-hand duck canvas at 12 oz (407 g/m²) in 100% ring-spun cotton – a water-resistant and wind-resistant material that improves with age. The vest is lined with nylon quilting against arctic-weight polyester insulation, the warmest insulation Carhartt offers.

The vest has a relaxed fit and features a corduroy-trimmed collar with hidden snap buttons for attaching an optional hood. At the front sits a two-way brass zip with an internal storm flap, and there is one internal hook-and-loop pocket plus two large front side pockets. A drop tail hem provides extra coverage at the back, and triple-stitched main seams make the vest ready for years of hard work.
