The lightweight, synthetic-insulated vest provides effective warmth and breathability without the extra bulk of sleeves. Whether worn as a mid-layer or outer layer, it is compact and responsive, and suits ice climbing as well as summit tours.

The vest features a new, highly breathable inner surface that moves moisture away faster than previous models. Body-mapped insulation in two different thicknesses ensures optimal heat distribution, so you can avoid changing layers as conditions shift. The outer fabric, Pertex® Quantum Air, offers good wind protection on exposed areas, while a simple adjustment at the lower back makes it easy to seal out the cold.

The comfortable, partially elasticated arm openings reduce chafing under the arms – even when using ice axes or handling equipment. The vest has a chest pocket and two hand pockets with zip closures, one of which also functions as a stuff sack with an attachment loop.
