Rab Latok GTX Bib is a robust hardshell bib designed for alpine conditions where maximum protection is essential. The high bib design sits closely against the jacket, creating a fully covering barrier against snow, wind and ice, making the bib highly suited to winter climbing, alpinism and steep mountain adventures. Despite its solid construction, the bib is surprisingly light, offering a good balance between weight and protection.

The core of the bib consists of 80D GORE-TEX Pro with a fluorocarbon-free ePE membrane, a material that delivers extreme durability, high breathability and a waterproof rating of 28,000 mm. Around the upper back and sides it is combined with GORE-TEX Pro with Matrix™ softshell, which increases flexibility and provides better freedom of movement in demanding terrain. The areas around the ankles are reinforced with Spectra® ripstop to withstand contact with crampons, rock and ice.

Full-length side zips make it easy to pull the bib on over multiple layers and heavy mountain boots, while also providing effective ventilation. The drop-seat allows for practical breaks without the need to remove layers, even in severe cold. The pre-shaped knee design allows natural movement on steep ascents, while the waist can be fine-tuned from both sides for an optimal fit. An expandable thigh pocket provides quick access to essential gear, and the lower hem is adjustable to ensure a close seal against boots. An internal gaiter offers additional protection against snow and slush.
