Norrøna Senja Alpha90 Hood is a highly breathable, partially wind-resistant hybrid fleece developed for trail running in changing temperatures and activity levels. The garment combines warmth, ventilation and light protection, and is ideal for intense sessions, fast mountain outings and all situations where the balance between insulation and breathability is critical.

The jacket is constructed with Polartec® Power Grid fleece, chosen for its ratio of stretch, warmth-to-weight and durability. On the inside it is lined with Polartec® Alpha® insulation, an advanced and highly breathable insulation technology that provides consistent warmth while efficiently releasing excess heat during movement. The front features an outer layer of 100% recycled 20D nylon that offers light wind protection without compromising flexibility or comfort.

The material composition consists of 85% recycled polyester and 15% elastane in the Power Grid fleece, 78% recycled polyester and 22% polyester in the Alpha insulation, and a lightweight wind-resistant shell in recycled nylon. The result is a jacket that delivers warmth where it is needed, ventilation where the body works hardest, and a harmonious balance between performance and low weight.

The details are designed with functional use in the field in mind. A close-fitting, helmet-compatible hood provides extra protection against wind, while the pre-shaped sleeves ensure natural freedom of movement during running. A chest napoleon pocket keeps small essentials accessible without interfering with movement. Reflective logos and details ensure visibility as daylight fades.

The fit is technical and slightly elongated at the back, providing extra coverage and comfort during activity in varied terrain.
