Norrøna Fjørå Flex1 Pants is a versatile softshell trouser developed for mountain biking, but works equally well for a wide range of outdoor activities such as trekking, mountain climbing, winter running and ski touring. The iconic model is among Norrøna's most popular and has now received an updated design that gives a more contemporary look and an improved user experience.

The trouser is constructed in flex1 softshell in two different thicknesses to provide an optimal balance between protection, freedom of movement and breathability. The main fabric consists of a double-woven four-way stretch with 88% recycled nylon and 12% elastane, while the second material is a smooth-woven construction with two-way stretch in a blend of recycled nylon, nylon and elastane. The combination delivers durability, wind resistance and effective moisture transport, while a PFC-free DWR treatment provides light water repellency. All materials are Bluesign- and GRS-certified.

The functionality is developed for technical use in demanding terrain. A silicone-coated waistband keeps the trouser securely in place, and a gusset in the crotch reduces friction against the saddle. The model features several zip pockets, including a lumbar pocket and dedicated pockets for hands or tools, as well as a thigh pocket for easily accessible storage. The articulated knees provide good freedom of movement and are designed for use over knee protectors. At the bottom of the leg, a Velcro adjustment makes it possible to narrow the hem as needed.

The fit is technical with articulated legs and an extended back panel that provides extra coverage during cycling and other active use.
