Norrøna Fjørå Flex1 Hybrid Shorts Men's combines technical protection with a high degree of freedom of movement, and is developed for mountain biking on singletracks. The shorts also perform very well for other active outdoor pursuits such as trekking, mountain climbing and winter running.

The model is constructed in flex1 softshell to provide optimal stretch, breathability, durability and moisture transport. At the front and in the seat area, the shorts are reinforced with a windproof and water-repellent three-layer stretch material that offers extra protection in rough weather without compromising comfort or mobility. The main fabric consists of double-woven four-way stretch with 88% recycled nylon and 12% elastane, while the protective 3L material combines recycled nylon, elastane and a jersey backing in 100% recycled polyester. Both materials feature PFC-free DWR treatment and are Bluesign- and GRS-certified.

The shorts are equipped with a comfortable waist system and a silicone-gripper waistband that keeps them securely in place during activity. Strategically positioned waterproof fabric on the thighs and seat provides extra confidence in wet conditions. Ventilation from hip to knee makes it easy to regulate temperature, while a gusset in the crotch reduces friction against the saddle.

Storage is catered for by several zip pockets, including a thigh pocket and high side pockets. The highly articulated knees ensure a good fit over knee protectors. The fit is technical, with a focus on mobility and performance in demanding terrain.
