Gear Aid Aquasure+FD is the adhesive for permanent repairs on almost all watersports equipment. It can be used on drysuits, wetsuits and other equipment used in contact with water, as well as general outdoor gear. The product is suited to sealing larger tears, sealing seams or patching using various types of repair kits.

The product was previously known as McNett Aquasure, but has been renamed and given new packaging. It is otherwise the same product with exactly the same properties.

How to use the adhesive: First clean the area to be sealed or bonded – this is especially important on drysuits. Use a curing agent, alcohol or similar for cleaning. Latex cuffs should be lightly sanded to create a less smooth surface before bonding. Then apply an even layer of approximately 2 mm thickness using the brush included.

The result after bonding is a flexible compound that preserves the material's freedom of movement, rather than becoming stiff and hard. Aquasure+FD can also be used to reinforce seams on wetsuits, neoprene gloves, wetsuit socks and similar items.
