When do you need a rucksack this large?

For long multi-day trips: room for food, clothing, sleeping equipment and specialist gear. For winter trips: winter clothing takes up more space than summer clothing. For expeditions: extra capacity for safety. Make sure the rucksack has a reinforced back section and an adjustable carry system – heavy loads demand good ergonomics.

Getting the fit right

A good rucksack should sit firmly on the hips – the hip belt should carry most of the weight, not the shoulder straps. Make sure the back system suits your back length and that the rucksack has good ventilation against your back. We are happy to help you find the right size and fit in store.
