The largest rucksacks (80+ litres) are reserved for expeditions, long winter trips and self-sufficient journeys lasting several weeks. They have room for everything you need to survive without resupply for an extended period.
At Jobb og Fritid you will find large expedition rucksacks.
For expeditions and long trips: hunters, mountain folk, expedition participants. For winter trips with a lot of kit: wool layers, cold-rated sleeping bag, winter tent. Make sure you genuinely need the size – heavy rucksacks are hard on the back, and better packing technique can often reduce what you need.
A good rucksack should sit securely on the hips – the hip belt should carry most of the weight, not the shoulder straps. Make sure the back system suits your back length and that the rucksack has good ventilation against your back. We are happy to help you find the right size and fit in store.
