The largest rucksacks (80+ litres) are reserved for expeditions, long winter trips and self-sufficient trips lasting several weeks. They have room for everything you need to survive without resupply for an extended period.
At Jobb og Fritid you will find large expedition rucksacks.
For expeditions and long trips: hunters, mountain trekkers, expedition participants. For winter trips with a lot of gear: wool layers, a cold-rated sleeping bag, a winter tent. Make sure you really need the size – heavy rucksacks are hard on the back, and better packing techniques can often reduce what you need to carry.
A good rucksack should sit securely on the hips – the hip belt should carry most of the weight, not the shoulder straps. Make sure the back system matches your back length and that the rucksack has good ventilation against the back. We are happy to help you find the right size and fit in store.
