Rab Kinetic 2.0 is a stretchy, breathable and waterproof shell jacket developed for active days in the mountains. The jacket uses Proflex™ fabric, which combines the soft, flexible feel of a softshell with the protection and durability expected of a solid shell. The result is a jacket that moves moisture so efficiently that it feels almost like a breathable mid-layer – right up until the rain truly sets in and the waterproofing comes into its own.

The fabric consists of recycled 3-layer polyester with a PU membrane and fluorocarbon-free DWR. The construction offers a hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm and a breathability rating of 35,000 g/m²/24 h, providing a balanced combination of protection and comfort during high-output activity. The brushed tricot-lined chin guard increases comfort against the skin, while adjustable cuffs and hem make it easy to fine-tune the fit in changing weather.

The jacket is fitted with YKK Aquaguard zips on the front, offering effective protection against moisture, and the pockets feature the same zip type for secure storage of small items. A fixed hood with rear adjustment ensures reliable protection and a stable fit even as the wind picks up.
