Patagonia M's Nano-Air® Ultralight Full-Zip Hoody is made for demanding alpine tours where the garment must perform from start to summit without any need for adjustments along the way. The featherlight construction combines FullRange™ synthetic insulation with superior breathability, providing warmth and protection in snow showers and wind without causing overheating when the pace picks up.

The outer fabric and lining consist of 100% recycled polyester ripstop with mechanical stretch. The fabric is highly breathable and more durable than many comparable materials, and features a PFAS-free water-repellent treatment that causes light moisture to bead off. The lightweight FullRange™ insulation delivers warmth across the entire upper body – including the hood, shoulders, upper arms and back – while ventilating panels under the arms reduce both heat build-up and bulk.

The hoody features a supple Light Touch Expansion Hood that sits securely both with and without a helmet, and can easily be pulled on or off even when the zip is closed. A soft chin guard provides additional comfort. The cut is slim and articulated for maximum freedom of movement, and is designed to work optimally under both a climbing harness and a backpack.

A spacious chest pocket keeps essential small items warm and within reach. The entire garment can be packed down into its own pocket, which has a loop for a carabiner. The lower portion of the sleeves is made from stretchy, quick-drying Capilene® Cool Lightweight fabric, making it easy to push the sleeves up and providing effective moisture transport.
