Norrøna Lofoten GORE-TEX Thermo80 Jacket is a warm, technical ski jacket developed for freeride and cold winter days. It combines reliable weather protection with synthetic insulation and is a strong choice for both demanding off-piste skiing and regular ski and snowboard days, whether on or off groomed slopes.

The shell is made from 2-layer GORE-TEX® with an ePE membrane, providing full protection against water and wind while good breathability ensures efficient moisture transport during activity. The outer fabric and lining consist of 100% recycled nylon, and a C0 DWR treatment adds extra resistance to moisture. The lightweight, durable ePE membrane is PFAS-free below 50 ppm and developed with a reduced carbon footprint, while the construction is built for long-term use.

The insulation consists of 80 g/m² Pinneco Mantle B in the main body of the jacket, while the hood, cuffs and area beneath the snow skirt use 60 g/m² insulation. This combination delivers good warmth without adding unnecessary weight. The jacket weighs 800 grams in size L.

The jacket features a practical 5+2 pocket configuration with two hand warmer pockets and an arm pocket. Two-way underarm zips provide effective ventilation, while adjustable Velcro cuffs and hand gaiters offer reliable protection against snow and cold. The removable snow skirt and adjustable hem make it straightforward to adapt the jacket to changing conditions.

The helmet-compatible hood provides extra protection on exposed days, and the regular fit ensures good freedom of movement and room for insulating layers underneath.
