Norrøna Fjørå Flex1 Shorts Men's is a versatile, lightweight softshell short developed for mountain biking on singletracks, but works equally well for other outdoor activities such as trekking, climbing and running during the winter months. The iconic fjørå model is among Norrøna's most popular, and this generation is considerably lighter than previous versions – without any compromise on durability or quality.

The shorts are made from Norrøna's flexible flex1 softshell, chosen for its combination of four-way stretch, durability, wind resistance, breathability and effective moisture transport. The fabric features a double-woven construction of 88% recycled nylon and 12% elastane, treated with a PFC-free DWR for light water repellency. The material is both Bluesign- and GRS-certified, and the shorts are produced in a single main fabric for maximum comfort in movement.

The features have been carefully designed for technical cycling and active use. The comfort waistband system and a silicone-coated inner waistband keep the shorts stable during activity, while a gusset in the crotch minimises friction against the saddle. The model has several zip pockets, including a lumbar pocket at the back, pockets for hands or tools, and a dedicated thigh pocket. The highly articulated knees ensure good freedom of movement and an optimal fit over knee protectors. At the hem, a Velcro adjustment provides a tapered and customisable finish.
