Norrøna falketind warm1 Hood is a lightweight, technical fleece hooded jacket developed for mountain climbing, but thanks to its outstanding breathability it works equally well for high-intensity activities such as trail running, ski tours and other outdoor pursuits. The grid-structured inner surface ensures excellent air circulation, making the jacket suitable as a functional mid layer throughout the year – whether in warm summer conditions or as part of a layering system in winter.

The jacket combines low weight with good thermal properties through the use of lightweight warm1 materials. The main fabric consists of an airy fleece in 100% recycled polyester, known for good thermal performance and low weight. In exposed zones, a knitted single-sided grid fleece with high elasticity is used, comprising 92% recycled polyester and 8% elastane. Both materials are Bluesign- and GRS-certified, and the jacket is treated with HeiQ Fresh FFL to counteract odour during intense activity.

The hood construction has an elasticated edge that provides comfort and a stable fit, and the front zip is equipped with a chin guard to prevent chafing. A laminated chest pocket with zip offers easy storage of small items, and the soft, flexible fabric ensures good freedom of movement and a comfortable feel against the skin.

The fit is technical and shaped to follow the body's natural movements during activity.
