Fleece is a lightweight, warm and breathable material that has been a cornerstone of outdoor wardrobes for decades. It dries quickly, retains warmth even when slightly damp and is comfortable worn directly against the skin.
We stock fleece from several brands – from thin, lightweight models to thick Polartec versions. Many are made from recycled materials.
For running and high-output activities: thin, breathable fleece. For hiking: medium thickness, ideally with windblock panels. For cabin life and everyday use: thick and soft fleece with a high half- or full-zip.
Getting your top half right is about thinking in layers. A base layer wicks moisture away, a mid layer retains warmth, and a shell protects against the elements.
