Dolomite 54 High FG Evo GTX is a high-cut hiking shoe with a classic vintage look and modern mountain-shoe technology. The shoe is built on the iconic Cinquantaquattro last and is the high-cut version of the 54 Low FG Evo GTX. The higher shaft provides better ankle support on uneven terrain and extra coverage against snow and mud.

The upper is in oiled nubuck leather from LWG-certified tanneries, and the lining is in recycled mesh with a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane (OEKO-TEX 100 certified). The insole is from Dolomite's DAS Light system and is anatomically shaped to reduce fatigue and joint strain on long days. The Vibram outsole with Ice-Trek 2 compound contains 20% recycled EVA and provides good grip on both wet and icy ground, as well as good cushioning. The shoe is reinforced at the heel and toe.

A key advantage of this model is that the sole can be replaced when worn, significantly extending the shoe's lifespan. The shoe comes with two pairs of laces.
