Dolomite 54 Low FG Evo GTX is a low hiking shoe with a classic vintage aesthetic and modern mountain-shoe technology. The shoe is built on the iconic Cinquantaquattro last, which has become a recognisable favourite among hikers, combining durability and comfort with a focus on sustainable materials.

The upper is made from oiled nubuck leather sourced from LWG-certified tanneries, and the lining is recycled mesh with a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane (OEKO-TEX 100 certified). The insole comes from Dolomite's DAS Light system and is anatomically shaped to reduce fatigue and joint strain on long days out. The Vibram outsole with Ice-Trek 2 compound contains 20% recycled EVA and provides reliable grip on both wet and icy terrain, along with good cushioning. The shoe is reinforced at the heel and toe, and is equally well suited to everyday use, travel, and light mountain hikes.

A key advantage of this model is that the sole can be replaced when worn out. This significantly extends the shoe's lifespan and is both a sustainable and cost-effective solution compared with buying new footwear. The shoe comes with both white and black laces, so they can be swapped if worn out or if a different colour is preferred.
