The Arctic Double series is an innovative two-layer functional garment based on Brynje's unique mesh structure worn closest to the body, combined with merino wool on the outside. This loose two-layer combination is very lightweight relative to the warmth it provides. The inner layer stays dry due to the minimal contact points against the skin and the polyclon yarn, which absorbs little moisture. The mesh traps a large amount of air, which is the secret behind its outstanding performance: light, dry and warm. During activity, moisture is efficiently transported away from the body, where the wool absorbs and evaporates it outward, forming an insulating layer over the air pockets in the mesh.
