Arc'teryx Gamma MX Hoody is made for days when you need a little extra warmth and protection, but do not want to carry a fully insulated or waterproof jacket. This softshell offers greater breathability than a traditional shell and delivers good warmth relative to weight, while protecting against wind and light moisture in changeable weather. It works excellently as an outer layer on cool hikes and approaches, and as a warm mid layer in wet or cold conditions.

The jacket is constructed in Fortius™ 2.0, a durable softshell fabric that combines an increased warmth-to-weight ratio with robustness and wind resistance. The fabric features a PFAS-free FC0 DWR finish that repels light moisture, and taped seams provide additional protection while giving a clean appearance and increased strength. Articulated patterning allows freedom of movement in technical terrain, and the fit is close without restricting mobility.

The StormHood™ hood is helmet-compatible and provides full coverage without restricting the field of vision. The hem can be adjusted to keep draughts out, and elasticated cuffs provide a comfortable and secure fit around the wrists. Storage options include two hand pockets with concealed zips and a zip chest pocket.

Gamma MX Hoody is produced in bluesign®-approved material in both the main fabric and lining, with the inclusion of recycled fibres. This reduces the environmental footprint and makes the jacket a more responsible choice.
