Therm-a-Rest Trail Scout Regular is a self-inflating sleeping mat designed for those buying their first inflatable mat or looking for more comfort than a traditional foam mat. At 2.5 cm thick, it offers noticeably better sleeping comfort while remaining lightweight and packing down to a compact size.

The mat has an R-value of 3.1 and provides reliable warmth across three seasons. The core consists of solid, high-quality foam encased in durable woven fabric – the same fundamental construction used in several of Therm-a-Rest's most robust and high-performing models. This delivers a good balance of insulation, comfort and durability, whether the mat is used in a tent, under open skies or on weekend car camping trips.

The Trail Scout Regular is fitted with a WingLock™ valve, which effectively reduces the time spent both inflating and deflating the mat. It is compact enough for mountain and woodland trips, yet comfortable enough for relaxed nights at a campsite. It is produced locally in the market to reduce environmental impact and maintain the quality Therm-a-Rest is known for. The mat comes supplied with a stuff sack for easy transport and storage.
