Exped Ultra 6.5R LW is an ultralight and warm sleeping mat developed for winter trips, expeditions, and outdoor activities in cold conditions. With a thickness of 9 cm and an R-value of 6.9, the mat provides excellent insulation against cold from the ground, while its low weight and small packed volume make it easy to bring on longer trips.

The longitudinal air channels combine synthetic fibre fill with reflective film to reduce heat loss and deliver effective insulation. The generous thickness provides good support and sleeping comfort, while raised side rails help keep the body stably positioned on the mat throughout the night.

The outer fabric is made from recycled 20D polyester, chosen to keep the weight down without making unnecessary compromises on performance. The Exped valves are easy to operate and made from a flexible material that functions well even at low temperatures.

The included pump sack allows the mat to be inflated quickly and easily without introducing moisture from the breath into the inside of the mat. A repair kit is also included, so minor damage can be fixed while on the go.
