Carhartt 104727 is a rugged cargo short built for work, leisure and everyday use. The fabric is an 8 oz (271 g/m²) ripstop in a cotton/polyester/elastane blend with Carhartt's Rugged Flex stretch technology, providing both durability and natural movement through the seat and thigh. The front pockets are reinforced with Cordura in high-wear areas for added longevity.

The short has a relaxed fit with a 28 cm inseam and sits slightly below the natural waist. It is equipped with two Cordura-reinforced front pockets, two large cargo pockets with flap and press studs, two back pockets and several additional tool pockets. A reinforced gusset provides a good range of movement between the legs, and sturdy belt loops are bartacked at the seams for extra durability.
