Bekina Thermolite IceShield S5 is a heavy-duty safety boot in polyurethane (Neotane), developed for extreme cold and demanding work. It insulates down to -50 °C thanks to an extra-thick shaft and a thick sole, keeping feet warm and dry in the toughest environments. The boot is popular in fisheries, cold stores and freezer warehouses, ski centres and agriculture.

The boot features a steel toecap and steel midsole penetration resistance (S5), is 100 % waterproof, and resistant to fats, oils, fertilisers and many chemicals. The sole provides excellent grip on slippery and wet surfaces (SRC) and has a shock-absorbing heel. The Neotane material makes the boot significantly lighter than rubber and PVC, and remains soft and flexible even in severe cold. A moisture-absorbing, ergonomic insole is included.
