AKU Nativa Canvas is a lightweight and breathable shoe built for everyday use, travel and low-intensity outdoor activities. The shoe is handcrafted in Europe at AKU's own factories, and all components are 100% traceable back to their origin – a rare degree of transparency in the industry.

The upper is made from 100% recycled canvas, and the insole consists of coconut fibre, bamboo fibre and latex for natural cushioning. The midsole is Vibram Eco-EVA in partly recycled material, and the suede leather detailing comes from LWG-certified tanneries in Italy. The Vibram RockLite outsole provides reliable grip on both asphalt and light trails, while AKU's Elica Natural Stride System ensures an anatomical and natural gait. The shoe is resoleable, allowing it to last longer.
