Norrøna Trollveggen Thermo100 Rescue Hood Men's is an exceptionally warm insulated jacket for alpine climbing. Developed in collaboration with NARG (the Norwegian Alpine Rescue Group), it incorporates all the necessary features, durability and protection required for their work.

The main fabric is made from a lightweight, aero-down-proof nylon material with good breathability and wind protection. The jacket is insulated with synthetic thermopolyester in four different thicknesses, so the coldest areas of the body receive more warmth while warmer areas are less insulated.

The jacket features a technical fit with a Y-cut and preshaped sleeves for freedom of movement during climbing, as well as a longer back panel for additional protection. The storm hood has one-handed adjustment and is compatible with headphones and a helmet.

Further features include a two-way front zip, two large napoleon chest pockets with an inner mesh pocket for a radio and an inner opening for an earpiece, two handwarmer pockets, an upper sleeve pocket on each side, two inner mesh pockets and one inner zipped pocket. The jacket also has Velcro on the right chest and left sleeve for a name badge, along with reflective detailing on the front, back and sleeves.
