Ki-Elements Floater Suit is a floatation suit that protects against the two greatest hazards when working on or near water: drowning and hypothermia. The suit provides over 50 N of buoyancy and is classified Class D for hypothermia protection – tested for survival of up to one hour in ice-cold water below 5 °C.

The ergonomic fit and waterproof materials allow full freedom of movement without compromising protection. Ventilation zips under the arms regulate temperature during high activity, and an adjustable waist and braces ensure a comfortable, tailored fit. The lining is made from buoyancy foam and nylon.

The suit features pockets for a VHF radio, mobile phone and ID card, chest pockets, warming fleece-lined pockets, knee pad pockets and attachment points for a knife – everything you need within reach when working in demanding maritime environments. The floating hood is designed for use with a safety helmet.

As an optional accessory, the Ki-Elements FloaterVest 275 N can be fitted to the suit, upgrading it to a lifejacket with 275 N of buoyancy. The vest is suitable for extreme offshore conditions and turns an unconscious user from a face-down position to a stable back position, while supporting the head to minimise the risk of water entering the airways.
