Arc'teryx Kopec Mid GTX is an agile and lightweight hiking shoe developed for day hikes and minimalist multi-day trips throughout the year. The PFAS-free GORE-TEX membrane keeps water and snow out even in demanding conditions, while the upper of durable CORDURA mesh combines low weight with high breathability. A moulded ankle pad provides extra protection and comfort in varied terrain, and the wide toe box gives the foot natural room to move freely on long hikes.

The midsole features two densities, delivering a balanced combination of cushioning, support, and lasting shock absorption. A specially designed TPU plate under the foot contributes to torsional stability without adding weight, and an extended U-shaped construction provides improved flexibility and breathability. The upper dries quickly, which is an advantage in changeable weather or on wet and muddy trails.

An asymmetric TPU toe cap protects against impacts from rocks and roots, while reinforcements in high-wear zones increase the overall lifespan of the shoe. The moulded heel counter provides extra support in rough terrain. The lacing system combines integrated webbing with metal eyelets at the top for a secure and adaptable fit.

The Vibram outsole is made with Megagrip and LITEBASE technology, offering low weight and excellent grip on everything from wet rock to loose soil. The lugs are shaped to deliver precise contact with the surface, shed mud effectively, and make each step feel more natural.

The Kopec Mid GTX features a Comfort Fit construction that provides generous room in the forefoot and a less snug fit around the rest of the foot. This makes it particularly well suited to long hikes and for walkers who prefer more space and comfort throughout the day.
