Arc'teryx Kopec GTX is a fast, lightweight and stable hiking shoe developed for both day hikes and multi-day walks. The waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane without PFAS protects against rain and snow and ensures a dry, comfortable climate around the foot. The upper is made from durable CORDURA mesh, which keeps weight down while withstanding rugged use. The roomy toe box provides natural freedom of movement and space to splay the toes, increasing comfort on long days across varied terrain.

The midsole is built in two densities that combine cushioning, stability and long-lasting comfort. A TPU shank in the midfoot provides torsional stability without adding unnecessary weight, and high-wear areas are reinforced for increased durability. The asymmetric TPU toe cap protects the toes from rocks and roots, while a solid heel counter provides extra support and confidence on uneven ground.

The outsole is made from Vibram Megagrip with LITEBASE technology, known for its low weight and exceptionally good grip on wet, muddy and rocky surfaces. The lug pattern is designed for precise foot placement, effective mud shedding and a smooth, natural stride. The lacing system combines durable webbing loops with metal eyelets at the top for a secure and adjustable fit.

The Kopec GTX features a Comfort Fit construction with extra room at the toes and a less snug fit around the foot, making it particularly well suited to longer outings and changing conditions.
