Kask
Italian helmets for cycling, skiing, mountaineering and occupational safety
Kask – Italian helmets designed in Bergamo since 2004
Kask was founded in 2004 by Angelo Gotti in a small workshop in Bergamo, Italy. Today the company is headquartered in Chiuduno (BG) and employs over 170 people across subsidiaries in several countries. The brand sells over one million helmets annually in 80+ countries, and is a global reference point for quality helmets in sport and occupational safety. All helmets are 100% Made in Italy, without exception.
Kask Sport and Kask Safety
The range is divided between two divisions: Kask Sport (cycling, alpine skiing, mountaineering and horse riding) and Kask Safety (occupational safety, rescue services and work at height). Established models include Zenith, Zenith X2, Plasma, Super Plasma, Primero and Quantum for work – and Elemento and Utopia for cycling. The helmets are developed according to the brand's own CSD Project (ComfortSafetyDesign), in which comfort, safety and design are given equal weight.
Patents, awards and performance
Kask has registered over 20 patents and won multiple ISPO Awards, Eurobike Awards and the iF Design Award 2024 (Elemento). Professional cyclists have won seven Tour de France, three Giro d'Italia and two Vuelta a España wearing Kask helmets. Sister company KOO (established 2016) produces eyewear and ski goggles. An excellent choice if you want Italian helmet quality with documented test results – whether you cycle, ski, climb mountains or work at height.
