For snow and high mountains: category 4 lenses and side protection. For running and sport: a secure fit and lightweight materials. For everyday use: polarised models reduce reflections from wet surfaces.
In the high mountains and on snow, a great deal of light is reflected – here category 3 or 4 lenses with side protection are important to avoid snow blindness. For everyday use and driving, polarised lenses are comfortable. A good fit is just as important as lens quality – the glasses must stay secure during activity.
