Good sunglasses protect your eyes from UV radiation and intense light – essential for mountain hikes, skiing and outdoor activities in general. Snow and high-altitude terrain reflect a great deal of light, and without sunglasses you can experience snow blindness.

For snow and high mountain terrain: category 4 lenses and side protection. For running and sport: a secure fit and lightweight materials. For everyday use: polarised models reduce reflections from wet surfaces.
In high mountain terrain and on snow, a great deal of light is reflected – category 3 or 4 lenses with side protection are important here to avoid snow blindness. For everyday use and driving, polarised lenses are comfortable. A good fit is just as important as lens quality – the glasses must stay securely in place during activity.
