Montane Windjammer Helmet Liner is designed to provide reliable protection against wind and weather, whether worn on its own or beneath a climbing helmet. The windproof construction around the forehead and ears is based on WINDSTOPPER® material from Gore-Tex Labs, produced in a 70 denier nylon fabric with four-way stretch. The inside features a soft micro-grid fleece lining made from recycled fibres, which retains heat effectively in cold conditions. The material uses Gore-Tex's ePE membrane with PFC- and PFAS-free impregnation and membrane technology, delivering a more sustainable level of protection without compromising performance.

The crown of the hat is constructed with APEX THERMO, an elastic material with excellent shape recovery, a soft outer surface, and a fleece-brushed interior. The fabric transports moisture efficiently and is treated with POLYGIENE® for permanent odour protection, keeping the garment fresh through demanding sessions and long outings.

The fit is ergonomically shaped to provide optimal coverage over the ears, and flatlock seams ensure a comfortable, chafe-free feel under a helmet or during active use.
