The Triplepoint membrane makes the cap breathable and highly water-repellent. Long ear flaps provide good coverage, and the brim is flexible so it can be folded up or shaped to suit the weather and wind.

The outer fabric is 2-layer Triplepoint Ceramic, while Alutian polyester fleece on the inside provides warmth. The seams are taped, and the ear flaps have loops for securing the cap when needed.
