Montura – Italian «Searching for a New Way» since the 1980s

Montura is an Italian outdoor brand established in Trentino, with the philosophy Searching for a New Way as its guiding principle. The brand focuses on ergonomic design, technical fabrics and specially tailored cuts that provide freedom of movement in the mountains. The clothing is developed and tested in collaboration with climbers, alpinists, skiers and rescue personnel – and all production takes place in Europe.

Climbing, ski touring, mountain hiking and trail running

The range is divided by activity: mountaineering, ski touring, hiking & trekking, climbing, trail running, cycling and workframe (work and leisure). Models such as Spitze Pants and Vertigo Pants are established technical climbing trousers, whilst windproof and breathable insulation jackets, fleeces and shell garments cover the full crossover between alpinist, climber and hiker. The brand also offers bags, headwear, accessories and cold-weather equipment.

Montura is a bluesign® system partner and focuses on traceability throughout the entire supply chain. Through Montura Editing, the company supports cultural and social projects in mountain communities around the world – from literature and film to expeditions and solidarity work. Sponsorship agreements cover alpinists, ski mountaineers, climbers, snowboarders, cross-country skiers and sailors.
