The Turøksa is a practical and sturdy axe for camp and wilderness life. It works excellently for felling smaller trees and for chopping kindling for bonfires, fireplaces and stoves.

The handle is somewhat longer and the axe head somewhat heavier than other small hiking axes, which contributes to better momentum when chopping.
