Norrøna Arktis Expedition Facemask Ousland Edition is a windproof face mask developed together with polar explorer Børge Ousland for arctic expeditions. It also performs well for freeride skiing, snowboarding, and other cold-weather activities where the face needs thorough protection.

The main fabric is Gore-Tex Infinium™ Windstopper® – a soft fleece that is completely windproof yet breathable to prevent moisture build-up. The mid-section around the face and mouth features Naturaprene, a nature-based rubber material that retains warmth and shape even when wet. At the back of the head and around the neck, recycled stretch fleece provides a good fit and easy on and off.

The inside is lined with soft fleece to prevent skin irritation, and power-stretch panels at the neck offer additional breathability. The mask has a technical fit.
