Lifesystems Ultralight Survival Shelter 2 is an ultralight emergency shelter for two people, designed to provide quick cover when the weather turns or a trip runs long. You pull it over your head and sit beneath it, and it rapidly creates a warmer, more sheltered microclimate inside. Weighing just 215 grams, it takes up minimal space in your pack and works well as permanent safety equipment on trips, during meal breaks or route planning.

The fabric is 20D siliconised ripstop nylon with a PU coating and taped seams, with a hydrostatic head of 5,000 mm. Inside there are waterproof sitting surfaces, an air vent with a window, and reflective strips for improved visibility. The orange colour makes it highly visible in the field, and an integrated stuff sack is included.
