Nalgene
The classic drinking bottle from the laboratory
Nalgene – iconic drinking bottles from Rochester, New York
Nalgene's roots go back to 1949, when chemist Emanuel Goldberg established the Nalge Company in Rochester, New York, and began producing plastic laboratory pipettes. When researchers in the 1960s started taking the lightweight, leak-proof lab bottles on hiking trips, an outdoor classic was born. Today, Nalgene is part of Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Wide Mouth, Tritan and long service life
The classic Wide Mouth 1L with screw cap in Tritan plastic is a well-known icon in rucksacks all over the world. The plastic is BPA-free, durable, tolerates boiling water, the dishwasher and sub-zero temperatures. The range also includes Narrow Mouth, OTG, smaller bottles and children's models, as well as a wide selection of compatible filters, cleaning containers and cups.
Made in USA and recycled materials
Most Nalgene bottles are manufactured in Rochester, and since 2020 the brand has launched the Sustain range, which uses Tritan Renew plastic containing 50% recycled material. If you are looking for a simple, robust and virtually unbreakable drinking bottle for hiking, work, school or everyday use, Nalgene is a natural choice with a proven record of durability.
