Clipper – Danish knitwear since 1955

Clipper is a Danish knitwear manufacturer established in 1955, headquartered in Herning in Jutland. For 70 years the brand has specialised in classic and timeless knitwear for both women and men, with a clear focus on good fit, honest materials and long-lasting wear. The philosophy is quality over quantity – the collections are deliberately small, and each style is developed with an emphasis on wearability and durability across many seasons.

Knitted jumpers, cardigans and polo shirts

The range includes knitted jumpers, cardigans, roll-necks, slipovers, polo shirts, T-shirts, blouses and outerwear. Established styles such as Milan, Copenhagen, Manchester, Sheffield and Turin are available in several neckline variations – o-neck, v-neck, zip neck and turtleneck. The Sheffield series is knitted in pure cashmere, whilst the other collections use high-quality wool yarn from well-regarded European spinners such as Zegna Baruffa, Filivivi, Südwolle and Miroglio.

European production and sustainability

The majority of the knitwear is produced at Clipper's own factory in Latvia, giving full control over the entire supply chain. The wool is OEKO-TEX®- and WOOLMARK®-certified, as well as mulesing-free. Clipper also offers corporate wear and private label solutions for businesses.
