Black+Blum – British design for food and drink
Black+Blum was founded in London in 1998 by industrial designers Dan Black and Martin Blum. After an early period focused on lighting and fun design products such as door stops and bottle openers, the brand moved from 2014 onwards to specialise in lunch boxes, water bottles and flasks – all developed in their London studio with a clear focus on longevity and reduced single-use plastic.
Leak-proof lunch boxes and drinking bottles
The range includes lunch boxes inspired by the Japanese bento, drinking bottles in stainless steel and glass, flasks, travel mugs and cool bags. Many of the products are 100% leak-proof, dishwasher-safe and made from food-approved materials such as 18/8 stainless steel, borosilicate glass and recycled components. The brand has won over 25 international design awards.
Sustainability as a core value
Black+Blum is a member of 1% for the Planet, and works with local groups in London to reduce food waste. A natural choice if you want well-crafted, durable kit for lunch at work, coffee on the commute or drinking water on the trail, while cutting down on single-use plastic.
