Canadian winter boots built for extreme cold

Baffin – Canadian winter boots since 1979

Baffin was founded in 1979 in Stoney Creek, Ontario, and is today one of Canada's most respected manufacturers of winter boots and cold-weather clothing. The brand specialises in footwear for extreme conditions, from everyday use in a Nordic winter to polar expeditions. Since 2018, Baffin has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Canada Goose, but continues to operate from its head office in Stoney Creek.

Polar Proven and Real-World Tested

Many Baffin models feature a removable multi-layer inner boot system, using materials such as B-Tek Heat, Hydromax, aluminium membrane and PolyWool lining. The boots are rated according to Baffin's own Real-World Tested system, ranging from Elemental to Polar Rated for comfort in temperatures down to −60 °C. Models such as Impact, Apex, Crossfire and Mountain are well known from both polar expeditions and industrial use.

Everyday use, hunting, work and expedition

The range covers outdoor activities, ice fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, construction and everyday use, as well as a dedicated industrial and first-responder line. Many models are still produced in Stoney Creek. A reliable choice if you need warm, waterproof and durable winter boots that can handle Norwegian winters, extreme cold and long days outdoors.
