A life jacket is your insurance on the water – no matter how strong a swimmer you are. At Jobb og Fritid you will find life jackets for adults and children from approved brands.
Auto-inflatable: comfortable for everyday use, inflates on contact with water. Foam jacket: always ready, less expensive, but less comfortable. For kayaking: specialist jackets offering excellent freedom of movement. Make sure the jacket is CE-approved and suited to the wearer's weight. For children, a correct fit is especially important.
Getting your upper body right is all about layering. Base layer wicks moisture away, mid layer retains warmth, and shell protects against the elements. We stock garments for all three layers and are happy to help you put together a combination in store that suits your activity and conditions.
At Jobb og Fritid we have extensive experience with equipment suited to conditions in Northern Norway. We give you honest advice based on your activity and your needs – not simply whatever is most expensive or most fashionable. Come and visit one of our shops in Tromsø to try on garments and speak with our knowledgeable staff.
