Arc'teryx Proton Hoody is a technical jacket developed for climbing and demanding mountain tours, but works equally well for versatile activities where breathability and insulation are important. It combines Coreloft™ Compact insulation with an air-permeable outer fabric, providing effective temperature regulation and reducing moisture build-up during intense use.

The outer shell in Fortius Air 20 nylon is lightweight, durable and offers good protection against wind, while allowing air to circulate. The jacket has a close-fitting, articulated design that provides good freedom of movement and comfort. The helmet-compatible hood is insulated with 60 gsm PrimaLoft® and delivers extra warmth when needed.

The jacket is treated with a PFAS-free DWR finish that repels moisture, and features adjustable drawcords at the hem to customise the fit. The cuffs are knitted for a soft and comfortable finish. Practical pockets include two zippered hand pockets and one zippered chest pocket in stretch fabric. The front zip is equipped with No Slip Zip™, which prevents it from opening unintentionally.
